Slayer

Slayer is the deathmatch of Halo 3.  It's a standard kill-as-many-as-you-can type mode.  It has a FFA and Team variant.  This mode needs no further description.

Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag is a staple of shooter multiplayer.  You should know what it is, but we'll tell you anyway.  There are two teams.  Each has a flag.  A point is awarded when one team gets the enemies flag back to their base while they also have their own flag.  If you're flag is gone, you can't score.  Also, be sure you can make it to your base with the flag, because it takes up both of your hands and you can't shoot while holding it. So be careful!
